Since FWWPB was going to be a major way to locally network the new site for me, I wanted to make sure I wore something young and fun! Taking risks is what it's all about, especially since I'm around the age where that is acceptable. Once someone gets in a certain profession at some point, depending on the career, one can't paint their nails crazy colors or wear their hair on the job how they want, and surely part of me knows that once that point comes for me I will enjoy the transition to being more poised and polished with my look, but until then... hot pink pumps with a cheetah print headscarf is where it's at!
Rocking my arm FWWPB purple pass and focused stare... Side braid was a plus.
Gold Stud Earrings (from Earring Pack) by Forever 21
Gold Ring Pack by H&M
Leopard Infinity Scarf by Forever 21
The leopard scarf was purchased towards the end of the summer, during my back to school shopping trip. It was folded long ways, and then tied around my head, leaving some front hair pieces out.
I loved the movement of this tank. What sold me was the tail that faded to a rich pink- All hail a statement piece.
What can I say? I'm all for the drama, the glamour, and the extra-ness.
Since it was somewhat transparent/see-through, I wore a black bandeu underneath. The top was purchased at the Plato's Closet in PGA last summer and has only been worn once. It had been dying to come out the closet, but it just needed that right event.
Pale pink slacks (rolled up) by Donnkenny
This brand is totally new to me. I picked these up while in Kansas while thrifting. After doing some research, turns out Donnkenny is an affordable brand with pants in SEVERAL colors (Heaven!). Check out the E-store, StageStore's collection of Donnkenny slacks here.
Gold Shimmery Bucket Bag by Elie Tahari
Pink Pointed Pumps by Charlotte Rousse
My mom gifted me this bag. She bought it for me while she was visiting family in New York two summers ago. I couldn't find it anywhere online, but I did found substitutes which will be in the 'Shop This Look' at the end of this post.
The hot pink single soled pumps (All Hail A Statement Piece!) were bought during a shoe promotion for $15.

Apologies for the iPad taken photos, I will be saving up for a new lens for my Nikon 1.
Photo quality for posts will be restored as soon as possible.
